Wow.. I didn't know you could actually get this in a new kit form from Dynakit Parts for a mere $675? (without tubes). I think I'm looking a future project here. I've been wanting to build an amp for a long time and it looks like this might fit the bill. Honey, can I have this for Christmas Please?!?
Good info about that Dynakit tube amp, didn't know they were avail either... but wow that's a lot of coin. :) So far I have been sticking to beat up old amps like my KG-250 that my friend gives me or sells me cheap. In fact, I just picked up an old Bogen integrated to work on that needs some OPTs and recapping and I've got a Fisher 400 waiting in the wings too... take it easy --Michael
ReplyDeleteYeah, thinking more about the price I'm not sure it's such an awesome deal. Then again, it's got to be cheaper then buying a new off-the-shelf amp of this kind.
